Bellbird announces it's mid-year release

The Singing Kettles, Jean Stafford and "Gentleman" Geoff Brown feature is this release of classic Australian Country Music from the catalogue archives of Hadley records.

We hope you will enjoy our latest offerings, including a Gold Guitar winning gospel album from Jean Stafford, Hadley Records first ever LP (HLP1201, released in 1965) from The Singing Kettles, and a special release from Tamworth legend “Gentleman” Geoff Brown, which includes 6 radio tracks that have never been released before!

Bellbird Music acquired the catalogue of Hadley recordings in 2004 and has now issued 17 albums, most for the first time on CD.

Hadley recordings were awarded 9 Golden Guitars and eight of their artists have been elevated to the Roll of Renown - Gordon Parsons, Rick and Thel Carey, Dusty Rankin, Rocky Page, Rex Dallas, Kenny Kitching and in January 2005, Athol McCoy and The Singing Kettles. The Roll of Renown – Australia’s own Country Music Hall of Fame – is presented to those artists who have made a lasting and significant contribution to Australian country music.
